TAKE ME ON A TRIPPP


Back for 4 days and I'm feeling an innate need to get out of this country asap. Need an open field to run, carefree, clothes-free?
Preferably one in a 18-24 deg c climate, I'm not too fussy, anything but the weather here. The heat's pressing. P.R.E.S.S.I.N.G. It clings on tightly to your skin when all you want is for it to leave you alone, thank you very much.
The food's been greatly missed though. $3 meals not AUD$10. $20+ finger-licking good chilli crabs not AUD$100(?!!) (HAHAHA@FRANCESCA+HECTOR)

I don't know man. Probably not. Cos all of my friends would be back.
Coolios. I thought u might be there earlier. Like when i was there. Wanted to tell you about these 2 drug-infested areas. But they're in Sydney. Kingsford and Redfern. Kingsford is like their Geylang and Redfern is this really old area near the town.
Anyway, drug problem there used to be so bad that there were shringes everywhere on the roadsides. And the govt couldn't control it so they set out legal areas for them to do drugs, instead of them doing all over the streets. They've since cleaned it up now. But there's still some drug action there.
Really wanted to do some photojourn there. Thought maybe you might be interested.

ahaha thanks! i actually am going sydney since my friends free too. shes bored of melbourne. how were the markets in sydney? paddington and so on. i heard glebe and newtown are worth checking out cause its the student uni chill out area? have u been there?

will be sure to check out kingsford/redfern ;) will get back to you if i dont get shot or anything

hey u mean flea markets? paddington has 2 on saturday. one in fringe bar (http://www.thefringe.com.au/), one in a church furtherrrrr down the road. Fringe bar flea = commoners selling old clothes/accessories. Might find things
Church ones = vintage + designer selling off their self-designed collection = EX EX EX
But can go & see see la. Fringe bar also has $10 all u can eat pizza on thurs. Wanted to try but didnt get the chance. lemme know if u tried.
YES I HEARD ABOUT GLEBE TOO!! Never had the chance to go though.
NEWTOWN, is a MUST go. it's like paddington's & surry's but slightlyy more affordable. Go Surry hills too. LOTS of quaint cafes and stores. lots of vintage. ex tho. but its nice to walk around there.
what else, PLS GO TO COOGEE BEACH. its right next to bondi beach which is their most famous beach. coogee = bondi but more beautiful x 10000000 and less crowded. Do go to the rocks area beside the main beach in coogee. Its damn beautiful. and you can fish for sea urchins and oysters. hehehe
What else.. mm oxford st which is the start of paddingtons is filled with gays. quite fun to watch.
Please try San churros at Newtown. Amazing churros.
ok can't remember anything else for now, but if u wanna know anything just ask me
oh travelling at sydney is expensive tho. do get a travel 10 if u'll take bus very often. & if u'll take trains often get the weekly pass if u dont then dont get it. cos can only use for a wk and it'll expire (= aussies r stupid)
and anyway pls take care in kingsford/redfern. crime rate there is reallly high. at least a break in case everyday. oh my friends said if u wanna catch drug action, best go at night. but = X10000 more dangerous. so take care.

anyway y u go in jan ah. isn't it summer?
its gonna be f hot in sydney. somedays mayb 38. oh and lots of flies and moths that will charge at your face. haha
